Was it just too coincidental..?

I signed up for this Buddyslim thing on Saturday night, as I was waiting for my boyfriend to come over to my place because he said so. I didn’t manage a first entry because I just let it mull about in my head until I didn’t have time to pen it down because he was already on his way. Unfortunately, that meet of ours got a bit ugly (I like to remember it as him just being tired and therefore let his temper get out of control), and til today, 2 nights later, I’m still not speaking to him.

What better motivation than being angry at the boyfriend and showing him, in any case, the next time you meet him, that you’ve shed some weight? Sure it looks like you’re unhappy without him in your life, but then, isn’t that what love is all about? Ok fine if you don’t get it, it’s okay. Point is, I am motivated to eat healthy and do healthy things.

Like today, Mint and I managed to peel ourselves away from our laptops and head over to Tampines gym. It’s truly a nice place, as it was recently renovated. However! The ladies changing room was under maintenance and the only other shower left was non-functional. I had to go to work icky. What a turn-off.

We made our way to a little food court sort of thingy at near Tampines MRT so that I could rush off to work after our meal. I bought rice with tofu and sambal goreng (tofu and long beans cooked in chilli). Let me just say that I was terribly late for work (note to self: must leave Tampines by 4.15pm MAX!) but also very proud of myself because I only ate half of my rice. *beams*

And now, now I’m pretty hungry but I’m going to skip dinner because hello, it’s 12.30am, it’s a bit too late to eat right? I’m tired anyway so I shall just get some sleep and rest these sore sore leg muscles from doing the bicycles and stepper. I ran for 10 mins at 5km per hr and it punctured me out! How terrible.

Til my next weight loss adventure,
xoxo
